On January 06 2010 I recieved a call informing me that Cajun had been found starving and abandoned for 3 weeks, in a building, along with another shepherd. With the help of the person who called me, Cajun and the other dog were rescued. When taken to the vet Cajun weighed 38 pounds when he should have weighed 80 or better. The other dog was also over 40 pounds under wieght. Dehydrated, his body had eaten all his muscle and weak from being starved, the vet thought that both he and the other dog had only 2-3 more days to live if they had not been found. Cajun is now under my care and living with my neice, Mikki. He is recovering slowly and has a long way to go to recover but every day sees him a little stronger.

Who did this, you ask? His owner of 3 years. Please remember her name and never, never sell her a dog, I have learned that this is not the first time she has done this. Check out Cajun's rescue pictures!

Cajun is a son of Multi BOB Ch Kiefernfel's Hot Shyt Aftica and Breed winning, BPIG Ch Shereldean's Miranda v Hellwigg. He is a confident, richly coloured sable male with awesome secondary sex characteristics, outreaching side gait, well balanced and full of his own self-importance :-)

Cajun is loved and owned by Kari Alblas of Karma Shepherds and joins her cousins Achate's Barbie Doll v Hellwigg and Kidjuuk's Race Junkie.

Cajun's potential is exciting and we are hoping that he is everything Kari is dreaming he will be.
